The data presented in the study discoursed the Philippines has a temporal trend compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.19% while maintaining 5th rank among the 7 southeast Asian countries and being forecasted to produce several education research publications more than Singapore by 2021. The comparative performance was also shown to compare Philippine performance to the 7 Southeast Asian countries. There are only a few citations of Philippine works, and self-citation is becoming a culture of research in the country.
