Jose Eric M. Lacsa, Fides A. del Castillo De La Salle University-Manila, Philippines jose.eric.lacsa@dlsu.edu.ph,...The growing number of non-Catholic students in many Catholic schools raises questions about the Catholic school’s changing nature and purpose as a context for religious education. Gen Zers ‘have returned to religion,” which makes teaching theology an apt course to teach among their groups. This paper explores and analyzes perspectives of selected non-Catholic Filipino youth studying theology in a Catholic setting. It employs Salzman and Lawler’s concept of perspectivism concerning religious education. The study further uses qualitative research. This study aims to provide practical recommendations toward an inclusive theological framework which the educators can use.
