Borong (EdD) Visayas State University, Southern Leyte State...The study aimed to determine how the Baybayanon Language remained in the village of Utod, Patag and Pangasugan of Baybay City. A case study design was used. There were nine (9) participants aged sixty (60) up. Two types of instruments were prepared first, the researchers prepared the wordlist. Second, questions have been prepared for interviews. Based on the results, it was discovered that the Baybayanon language was kept in the village of Utod, Patag and Pangasugan by using it daily of their communication, passing the language to the next generation, and by giving their own language values. The result was realized, with various methods the citizens used to maintain their language. The intense promotion and obedience of citizens in maintaining their language procedures has been a serious reason why Baybayanon language is maintained in three villages to the present day. The researchers suggested enriching local language by continuing to learn the language not only in variations but also in the way of reciting words and deep learning of the unique culture contained in three villages.
