Specifically, it analysed the collected corpus of verbs from religious, educational, livelihood or the cultural domains to which verbal affixes were attached. The purposive sampling was utilized to gather the data which was analyzed or interpreted using the descriptive method. The findings of the study were the following: the Sugbuanon and the Binol-anon dialects used similar verbal affixes; the two dialects differed in the way the words were uttered or in the manner the verbs with affixes were utilized in actual communication; and the contraction of the verbs with the affixes characteristic in the Sugbuanon dialect changed the phonemes or sounds of the said verbs.
