Results showed that the students have reported moderately serious problems on studies and self-concerns with the highest means while family, relate to others and health on the lighter side. Students with higher academic performance are those students with high possibility of experiencing health problems, on the other hand, they have also low tendency of experiencing problems on studies and self-concerns. Maritime students must realize the value of their contribution in achieving the vision admission of the University as well as their future professional roles as seafarers to help them develop positive attitude and behavior towards school activities related to academics.
