Mythology is an essential part of Philippine Literature that depicts the significant human experiences, belief systems, and the vast cultures of the Filipinos. This study focuses on the deep understanding and perspective of the teachers and students about Philippine Mythology in the modern world in the selected schools in the Philippines. It also aims to see the relevance of understanding the Philippine Methodology as integrated in the current K-12 program of Basic Education Curriculum. It was revealed in the study that the participants have high regard toward Western Literature, but they found out that the current situation of the currently directed on the westernized perspective they are open for paradigm shift towards the depth understanding of Philippine culture and systematically integrated in the new curriculum.
