Gender equality is a global issue that needs to be addressed for sustainable development. The education sector is implementing programs to achieve productive development based on gender equality and performs the mandates on Gender and Development (GAD). This study aimed to determine the extent of integration of Gender and Development (GAD) in teaching Filipino both written and oral performance of the selected Senior High Schools of the 14 towns and 1 city in Sorsogon. Stratified random sampling was used to select the 450 respondents. Documentary-analysis was utilized as a method of research. The findings revealed that there was lack of activities related to GAD in oral and written performance of the students. It was recommended that a workbook be utilized to guide the students in integrating GAD in Filipino subjects. Teachers may also continue to support GAD programs in school by integrating GAD activities or lessons in the teaching the subject.
